I have come to place in my life where I do a job that I’m passionate about. I was one of those people who dreaded going to work and sat in an office and listened to blah, blah, blah all day. So now that I love what I do, working as a Kinesiologist, mentor and life coach, I can appreciate it all that much more, considering where I came from. I want to share my passion with you and hopefully inspire you to get up and make the necessary changes to get on the path to living a fulfilling life too.
Here’s my story about why I love my job…
Everyone has a story but we rarely get to hear them cause people keep them so close to their heart because they are usually full of pain and trauma and people generally feel a lot of shame and guilt about that and then you can add in in fear associated with what people might think. But as a Kinesiologist, I get to hear those stories. They are fascinating and actually really inspiring. I hear all the difficulties and challenges that people have lived through and their triumphs. Sometimes they just barely scrape through and have gotten to a point where they think they can’t take anymore but they still made it through the trauma to the other side. This is where they are ready to face the issues and release them for good rather than feel like they are reliving those experience and living in the past. That’s where I come in. I help people to realise their pain and trauma and the illnesses and stress that these have created from these unresolved emotions and negative beliefs they have accumulated and release them for good. I bring people to live in present rather than dwelling in the past and replaying events over and over again in their heads.
I’m a Kinesiologist, mentor and life coach and have a clinic that I work at on Saturdays and do house visits during the week. Kinesiology is holistic natural therapy in every sense of the word because it unlocks the energy keeping emotional, physical and mental stress in our bodies that leads to disease, illness, pain, stress, depression and anxiety.
How it all works
For our bodies to work harmoniously and in a receptive and balanced manner all the organs, glands and cells need to work together. A negative belief can create imbalance in the body by changing the vibration in areas of your body. I locate the negative beliefs and the time they were created during stressful moments that people have been unable to resolve and have instead pushed them down into a little corner to avoid it rearing its ugly head. We all have lots of unresolved emotions cause basically we are pretty crap at dealing with emotions. We don’t get lessons in how to deal with things properly. We’re usually told – just don’t think about it. But by doing that we hold onto them and create a negative beliefs based on fear or anger or something similar.
By using muscle testing, acupoints, chakras and other super cool tools; I locate these negative beliefs, unresolved emotions and triggers. Once found, I turn the negative belief around into something positive and create a goal for your body to work towards and then find out what is stopping you from being aligned with this goal and release the energetic imbalance.
It’s pretty common for people to feel a bit inadequate at times in the their lives, like they aren’t good enough. What I do to help them push through and let this belief go in an easy and quick way, using kinesiology, so they can reach their full potential. I simply turn around that negative belief of not being good enough by putting in the goal, “I am good enough” and find out when that belief was initially created, whether that be in this life or a past life, where it is stored in your body and how it affects your body and then release that energy. So people have anywhere from a small to a big energetic release. This release affects people in so many ways. Sometimes heat and heaviness is freed from the body, mind and soul, so our bodies can get back to doing what it does best – supporting us.
Going through this process with people allows me to truly connect with people and really get to know them and what makes them tick. A lot of people come to me with anxiety and depression and I find that the main cause of depression is lack of connection, which leads to feeling isolated and loneliness. But I get to really connect with people on a daily basis which energises me and makes me be fully present in the moment. So that in turn boosts my happiness. Cause if you think about it, that’s all it takes to be happy, being fully present in the moment. If you are too concerned about the past and spend much or even a little of your time thinking or worrying or have anxiety cause you’re thinking worried about the future then you’re missing out on what is really going on right now and really feeling every morsel of every emotion that is happening in your life right now.
The connections I build with clients is based on trust because I listen without judgement and I do that because I too have lived my own trauma and pain. Most of the things that come up for clients I too have lived through, so I am the last person to judge. I too share my stories with them, so they feel comfortable and can see how someone else reacted in a similar situation. I believe this helps the healing process and makes them see me more as an equal that can relate to their issues and really understand rather than someone who has read a few text books.
What is truly satisfying about my job is watching people grow and overcome their pain and illnesses. I get to see people blossom right in front of my eyes. Their whole disposition changes. They stand tall and confidently and have a glow about them where they once may have be very pale and withdrawn or have an intensity from the pain in their eyes. Some people who have been filled with anxiety speak very quickly and I get to see them slow down and relax in the world and be able to go with the flow and take it all in. I have helped people to become pregnant, overcome serious heart issues, or chronic leg pain where they can sit for no more than 15 minutes at a time, overcome impotence or chronic eczema and food allergies and depression and much more.
Of course seeing people recover from chronic issues or achieve their dreams and knowing that you were part of it is really rewarding is so liberating and fun and scary all the same time. I no longer have to do some uninspired idea or process that is forced upon me by my boss. I get to take my imagination wherever it wants to go. It’s so cool. I never know where I will end up and that’s really exciting. Of course it definitely comes with it’s own pressures like building a business from scratch and maintaining it, so you have enough money to put food on the table. Luckily I have Kinesiology to help me with that and the support of friends and family.
On a daily basis I am inspired, I get to unleash my creativity and really connect with people, how can that be anything but amazing. Then as an added bonus I get to really make a difference in people’s lives that changes their lives for the better. I am so grateful to be doing what really fulfills me.
I hope that maybe this may have inspired you to do what you need to to get on your path to finding and living your passion and having a fulfilled life too. If I can do it, anyone can.
It's all perception. If that is true, then how do you change your perception? How do you see what really is the truth and remove the fog that clouds it?
